Aaron Tiller enters his first season as the defensive line coach at Norfolk State in 2024.
Tiller brings a dynamic coaching style honed over five years at Harvest Preparatory School in Columbus, Ohio, where he served as the program’s defensive coordinator and defensive line coach. Under his leadership, Harvest Prep’s defense consistently ranked among the top five in Ohio’s Division 7.
Prior to his coaching career, Tiller enjoyed a standout playing career at Southern University under now-Norfolk State head coach Dawson Odums. A two-time captain, Tiller received All-SWAC as well as HBCU All-American accolades. He pursued a professional football career afterwards, gaining experience with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, Alliance of American Football (AAF), XFL, before securing an AFL Championship with the Albany Empire in 2019.
Tiller graduated from Southern University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
