Niles Clark is in his first season on the NSU football staff. He assists with the Spartan defensive backs.
Clark joins the Spartan program after a successful playing career at North Carolina State. He spent five seasons as a cornerback for the Wolf Pack. After redshirting as freshman in 2012, he lettered each year from 2013-16.
Clark’s finest season came as a senior in 2016. He played in all 13 N.C. State games and recorded 27 tackles, 2.5 for loss, with three pass breakups and a forced fumble from his defensive back position. He saved his biggest highlight for the final game, when he returned an interception for a touchdown on the final play of the Independence Bowl victory over Vanderbilt.
A native of Marietta, Ga., Clark was a football and basketball standout at Lassiter High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from N.C. State in 2016.
