Phil Ingram is in his third year on the NSU football staff. After assisting with inside linebackers (2011) and defensive backs (2012) during his first two years on staff, Ingram will coach tight ends in 2013.

A native of Virginia Beach, Va., Ingram coached the defensive backs at Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, Va., for two seasons (2009-10). Ingram helped the Wildcats to consecutive Eastern Region playoff appearances, which included the school’s first 10-win season in 25 years in 2010.

Ingram was a standout linebacker at Salem High School in Virginia Beach. He earned All-Beach District honors and was a defensive captain as a senior in 2005.

Ingram received his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies from NSU in 2011.
