Shawn Hunt is in his fourth year on the NSU football staff. After serving as a quality control assistant in 2015, Hunt now holds the position of director of operations. He handles many of the daily administrative tasks for the program.
Hunt came to NSU after serving as special teams coordinator at Thomas Dale High School in Richmond in 2014.
Hunt spent three years at Virginia State (2011-13), serving as the Trojans starting placekicker in ’12 and ’13. Hunt made 10 field goals and 51 extra points in his time at VSU, helping the Trojans win the CIAA Northern Division regular-season title in 2013.
Hunt, a Newport News, Va. native, earned a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from VSU in 2014.
