    2006: One of the MEAC’s better all-purpose running backs, Jones played in all 11 games and started seven…made three starts at tailback and four at fullback…led the team and ranked 10th in the MEAC in scoring, with 10 total touchdowns…had nine rushing touchdowns, which tied for fifth in the conference…third on the team with 359 rushing yards on 91 attempts, a 3.9 average…also made seven receptions for 89 yards on the year…had a season-high 73 rushing yards on 12 carries at Hampton…had two rushing touchdowns against both North Carolina A&T and Florida A&M…had 79 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) vs. Morgan State…made three catches for 38 yards in that game…also scored single rushing TDs against Virginia State, VMI, Howard and Delaware State. 
    2005: Started every game…a bruising, versatile back, Jones hurt opposing defenses with his rushing, receiving and blocking…lined up at tailback and fullback…was second on the team and ninth in the MEAC in rushing (734 yards, 66.7 per game)…led the team and was seventh in the conference with 10 total touchdowns…averaged 5.0 yards per rush and ran for seven touchdowns…was fifth on the team in receptions and tied for team-high honors with three touchdown catches…had two games with more than 100 yards rushing…had 28 carries for 137 yards and three scores against Bethune-Cookman…had a career-high 143 yards rushing and one TD against nationally-ranked Hampton…caught four passes for 125 yards and two scores at Savannah State…also ran for 70 yards in that game to post a career-high 195 all-purpose yards…also ran for a single touchdown against Howard, Morgan State and Liberty…had a long rush of 47 yards, during which he hurdled a pair of defenders, in the opener vs. Virginia State. 
    2004: Stepped into the starter’s role at fullback at the start of the season…played in all nine games…led the squad with four rushing touchdowns…averaged 4.6 yards per carry…ran 38 times for 175 yards, all in the final five games of the season…had one rushing touchdown in each of the last four games…had 10 carries for 55 yards and a score, including a career-long 34-yard rush, in the final game of the year vs. Delaware State…also caught four passes for 51 yards for the season. 
    At Fork Union: Attended prep school and played football at FUMA. 
    High School: Played four years of football, basketball and track at Hermitage.
