 2014 (Junior)
Missed the entire season while recuperating from a preseason leg injury.

2013 (Sophomore)
Started three times and saw action in 10 games … missed the first Maine and Rutgers game due to injury … got the first start of his career at Delaware State … also started against Hampton and ODU … was second on the team in receiving yards (289) and receiving touchdowns (two) … tied for third on the squad with 18 receptions … registered season and career highs with six catches for 93 yards against Savannah State ... those marks were the most by a Spartan receiver in both categories during the 2013 season … caught three passes for 56 yards against Hampton, including a 38-yard play … made three grabs for 65 yards, including a 24-yard TD pass, vs. Old Dominion … caught a 4-yard TD pass at N.C. central … also made a 38-yard reception for his only catch against S.C. State.

2012 (Freshman)
Played in eight games … used as a backup receiver and on special teams … did not play against Liberty, Howard or Delaware State … named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall 2012 semester.

2011 (Redshirt)
Redshirted the season.

High School
Caught 35 passes for 720 yards and nine touchdowns … also returned a kickoff for touchdown … first-team All-Cardinal District and News & Messenger all-area pick … second-team All-Northwest Region and honorable mention Washington Post All-Met … missed most of his junior year due to injury … also participated on the track team all four years, competing in the long and triple jumps and the 100 meters … long jumped 22 feet, 6 inches as a senior.

DeAndre Sangster was born on Jan. 20, 1993 … son of Derek and Paulette Sangster … majoring in mass communication with a minor in business.
