2013 (Junior)
Appeared in five games (Maine, Rutgers, Hampton, ODU, FAMU) … played on both special teams and in reserve duty on defense … did not accumulate any statistics … earned a spot on the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall 2013 semester and named to the 2013-14 MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team.

2012 (Sophomore)
Saw action in nine games, appearing in every contest except against South Carolina State and Hampton … a regular contributor on NSU’s special teams, Johnson made three tackles on the year, two coming against Delaware State … also credited with a tackle at Bethune-Cookman … named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall 2012 and spring 2013 semesters

2011 (Freshman)
A special teamer and backup defensive back, Johnson played in all 12 games … recorded six tackles for the year, including two each against Delaware State and Hampton … broke up a pass in the win at Savannah State … credited with a tackle for loss of 17 yards when he dropped the Morgan State punter for a loss, leading to an NSU field goal in the MEAC title-clinching win.

2010 (Freshman)
Enrolled in the fall of 2010, but did not play.

High School
A two-year letterwinner in both football and track & field … as a senior, threw for over 700 yards and ran for more than 500.

DeMarta’ Lee Johnson was born on July 17, 1992 .. son of Michelle Coppock … majoring in exercise science.
