2016 (Junior)
Appeared in nine games at cornerback and started twice … Started against Savannah State and Hampton … Made three interceptions, tied for second-most on the team … Also made 12 tackles, eight solo … Made interceptions against Bethune-Cookman, S.C. State and Hampton … The interception at Hampton came with the Pirates in the NSU red zone, and Freeman returned it 54 yards into HU territory … Made four tackles at Savannah State and a career-high five against Hampton.

2015 (Sophomore)
Played in seven contests during the season as a reserve cornerback … All seven of his appearances came in the final eight games of the year … Made two interceptions on the year, tying for the team-lead … Also had four total tackles, one for a loss, and deflected one pass … Had one solo tackle, which went for a 3-yard loss, in the win over Hampton … Snagged his first career interception in the win over Savannah State … Had his best game in the win over Morgan State in the season finale, registering three solo tackles, one pass breakup and an interception which he returned 42 yards to thwart a drive deep in NSU territory.

2014 (Freshman)
Appeared in seven games as a reserve defensive back and special teams player … Made four tackles on the season, two solos and two assisted … Returned one kickoff for nine yards and one punt for nine yards in the opener at Maine … Made two tackles at Savannah State and one apiece against Hampton and Florida A&M.

2013 (Redshirt)
Redshirted the season … Earned a spot on the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall 2013 semester.

High School
A first-team All-Eastern District and second-team All-Eastern Region pick at wide receiver for Lake Taylor as a senior … Caught 12 touchdown passes for the Titans, who won the school’s first-ever state Group AAA Division 5 championship … Amassed 26 catches for 575 yards (22.1 yards per catch) … also started at defensive back … Attended Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS in Orangeburg, S.C., as a junior, where he lettered in football, baseball and track … Was a second-team all-region pick as an outfielder by the Orangeburg Times & Democrat for the OW baseball team.
