Biography

2018 (Sophomore)
Played in all 11 games and started 10 times during his sophomore campaign … Led NSU in all major receiving categories, including catches (54), yards (633) and touchdowns (five) … Was second in the MEAC in receptions per game and fourth in receiving yards … Posted seven catches for 67 yards and a touchdown at S.C. State … Followed that game up a week later with eight catches for 89 yards and a score in the win over Delaware State … Caught five passes against both Florida A&M and N.C. Central … Hauled in six passes for 74 yards and a 16-yard TD reception in the win over Howard … Had a career day against Morgan State, catching eight passes for a career-high 156 yards and two touchdowns … The TDs covered 5 and 34 yards and both came in the fourth quarter … Finished the season by catching a career-high nine passes for 82 yards at Liberty … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.

2017 (Freshman)
Saw time in all 11 games and started twice, against Virginia State and Savannah State … Emerged as one of the team’s go-to receivers as the year progressed, catching 29 passes (tied for second on team) for 344 yards (second) and three touchdowns (also second) … Caught at least one pass in every game and made four catches in a game on four occasions … Hauled in four passes for 55 yards with a long of 36 against William & Mary … Also had four receptions for 54 yards against Hampton … Scored his first collegiate touchdown on an 11-yard reception at N.C. Central … Caught an 8-yard TD pass against N.C. A&T … Made four receptions for 57 yards at Howard … Ended the season with another four-catch game at Morgan State … Had a season-high 63 receiving yards in that one, including a key 24-yard TD with about two minutes remaining that helped seal NSU’s win … Named to the NSU AD Honor Roll for the spring semester.

Second-team All-Conference 12 and second-team All-Metro by the Richmond Times-Dispatch as a senior … Tallied 43 receptions for 873 yards in his final prep season … Teamed with fellow Spartans Juwan Carter, Tavien Blackwell and Charell Coley to lead Highland Springs to two consecutive state 5A championships.
