All-MEAC first-team selection after leading the conference in rushing (80.6 ypg) … Led all of Division I FCS with 7.2 yards per carry (123 rushes for 887 yards) … Ran for 10 touchdowns (tied for the most in the MEAC) and caught one more … His 11 total touchdowns were second-most in the conference and he ranked second in the league in scoring (6.0 ppg) … Also ranked first in the MEAC and 23rd nationally in all-purpose yards (1,288, 117.1 ypg) … Caught 15 passes for 194 yards and one touchdown on the year, an 86-yarder on a short pass against Morgan State … Five-time MEAC Rookie of the Week and was MEAC Offensive Player of the Week once … Posted his first of four 100-yard rushing games against Elizabeth City State, gaining 121 yards on just eight carries, two of which went for touchdowns … Scored on a 72-yard TD run in that one, helping him earn his first MEAC Rookie of the Week honor … Won his second straight Rookie of the Week award the following week, when he ran for 93 yards on 14 carries and caught one pass for 23 yards against St. Francis (Pa.) … Posted six carries for 74 yards and one score at Hampton … Posted three straight 100-yard games and MEAC Rookie of the Week performances against Morgan State, N.C.
