    2007 (Junior): Appeared in all 11 games, starting eight at outside linebacker…tallied 19 tackles, 1.5 for loss, two quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one pass breakup…made three tackles, one for loss, and forced a fumble against South Carolina State…was credited with both of his quarterback hurries against Hampton…had a season-high five tackles and one pass deflection versus Howard.   
    2006 (Redshirt): Redshirted the season while rehabilitating the knee injury he suffered in 2005. 
    2005 (Sophomore): Played in eight games at defensive tackle…totaled 16 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and one sack…made seven tackles, 1.5 for loss, and half a sack in the season-opener against Virginia State…missed the last three games of the season after tearing ligaments in his knee versus Morgan State. 
    2004 (Freshman): Played in all nine games for the Spartans at defensive end…led the team with 11 quarterback hurries…had 4.5 tackles for loss, two of them sacks, and one pass deflection…had a season-high 10 tackles, two for a loss, in the season-opener against Virginia State…blocked an extra point against Savannah State…had five tackles and 1.5 sacks at Howard. 
    High School: A four-year letterwinner at Miami Norland…won team’s Best Defensive Lineman Award as a senior…helped team win the Florida 6A championship team his junior season. 
    Personal: Jason Alexander Dent…born January 2, 1986…son of Howard Dent and Perline Edward…majoring in business management.
