Norfolk State University Athletics

    2008 (Senior): Saw time in 11 games…was NSU’s first offensive lineman off the bench, playing at either guard position…graded out as NSU’s top lineman against N.C. A&T. 
    2007 (Junior): Played in six games as a backup guard…missed the first three games of the year with a broken bone in his foot…made his season debut against N.C. A&T, playing a season-high 15 snaps…also played off the bench against Florida A&M, Howard, Morgan State, Delaware State and Winston-Salem State. 
    2006 (Sophomore): Played in 10 games as a substitute…made two assisted tackles for the season…was in on half of a tackle for loss versus Winston-Salem State…moved to offensive guard during the team’s spring workouts. 
    2005 (Freshman): Sat out as a non-qualifier. 
    High School: A second-team All-Eastern District pick as a senior in 2004…tallied 56 tackles, six sacks and two fumble recoveries as a senior…transferred from Norcom High School to Wilson after his junior season. 
    Personal: Jerome T. Johnson…born June 19, 1987…son of Jerome and Helen Johnson…mother also attended NSU… majoring in interdisciplinary studies
