    2007 (Junior): Saw action in 10 games, serving as a special teams contributor and reserve safety…assisted on three tackles for the season, two of them coming at Rutgers… named to the NSU and MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Teams for the second consecutive year. 
    2006 (Sophomore): Played in four games…made three tackles for the season, one each versus North Carolina A&T, Morgan State and Winston-Salem State…named to the NSU and MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Teams. 
    2005 (Freshman): Did not see any playing time. 
    High School: A four-year letterwinner…started three years at free safety…a second-team All-Central District selection and team co-captain as a senior…had 75 tackles and three interceptions in his final prep season…led Matoaca to the Central Region playoffs in its first year in Group AAA…also played basketball and ran track. 
    Personal: Justin Douglas Griffin…born January 31, 1986…son of Melvin and Rebecca Griffin…majoring in computer technology.
