2013 (Junior)
Started every game in the NSU secondary for the second straight year … was fifth on the team and first among Spartan defensive backs with 62 total tackles and four tackles for loss … forced three fumbles, tied for fourth-most in the MEAC … also finished the year with six pass breakups, one interception and one fumble recovery … had a season-high eight tackles in a game on two occasions, the first coming at Rutgers … also had a pass deflection and half a sack against the Scarlet Knights … made seven stops with a career-best 1.5 for loss against Charleston Southern … recorded one pass breakup and blocked a field goal at Morgan State … made a touchdown-saving play against Savannah State, forced and recovering a fumble just before the goal line in the second quarter … had six tackles against Delaware State and seven vs. Hampton … also had a TFL and a forced fumble against the Pirates … made six tackles and also returned a punt 62 yards vs. ODU … had another strong game at Bethune-Cookman, finishing with four solo tackles, a forced fumble and an interception in the B-CU end zone … matched his season high with eight tackles (half for a loss) at N.C. Central … deflected two passes in the finale against S.C. 2012 (Sophomore)
Started all 11 games at strong safety … finished tied for fourth on the team and first among the defensive backs with 55 total tackles (32 solos, 23 assists) … led the team with three interceptions and also deflected six other passes … also finished with three tackles for loss … recorded a career-high 12 tackles, half for a loss, at Liberty … also broke up a pass at the goal line on the potential game-tying touchdown pass in the final minute of play at Liberty … made seven tackles (six solo), one for a loss, the following week against Howard … had three tackles and made his first interception of the year at S.C. State … tallied seven more tackles, six solo, in the loss at Hampton … also intercepted a pass at N.C. A&T … closed out the season with four tackles, one for a loss, an interception and three pass breakups in the win over Morgan State … his interception and subsequent 8-yard return came in Morgan State territory and led to a first-quarter NSU touchdown … named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the fall 2012 and spring 2013 semesters and was also a member of the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team.
2011 (Freshman)
Started six games and played in all 12 during his freshman year … started four times at strong safety (Charleston Southern, S.C. State, Delaware State, Hampton) and twice as the nickel back (Morgan State, ODU) … recorded 37 total tackles, including 25 solos and three for loss, during the season … had one interception and deflected five passes … made a season-high five tackles three times, against Charleston Southern, Bethune-Cookman and Morgan State … recorded one tackle for loss against S.C. State, Hampton and Bethune-Cookman … had one of his best all-around games against Hampton, notching four tackles, one for loss, one pass breakup and a game-clinching interception (the first of his career) in the fourth quarter … also had one pass deflection against Howard, North Carolina A&T, Savannah State and Morgan State.
