2014 (Junior)
Started 11 of NSU’s 12 games at one of the two inside linebacker positions … ranked fourth on the team and tied for 16th in the MEAC with 85 tackles … tallied 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one pass deflection and one quarterback hurry … reached double figures in tackles on two occasions, beginning with a 10-tackle effort at Maine … had one solo tackle for a loss and a pass deflection against Liberty … recorded six tackles at William & Mary and eight in back-to-back games with Buffalo and Morgan State … made nine tackles and one sack against Delaware State … posted seven stops at Hampton and eight at Florida A&M … made a career-high 12 tackles, including half a tackle for loss, against Bethune-Cookman … collected nine stops, half for lost yardage, in the N.C. Central game. 

2013 (Sophomore)
Played in all 12 games … second-string inside linebacker and also a regular special teams contributor … made 23 tackles on the season, 19 of them assisted … had a team and career-high 10 tackles (nine assisted) at Rutgers … made three stops against Hampton and Florida A&M … also credited with two quarterback hurries on the year, one each against Hampton and S.C. State ... a member of the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the spring 2014 semester.

2012 (Freshman)
Played in the final 10 games of the season …a contributor on special teams and with the second-team defense at inside linebacker … was credited with four tackles on the season, one each against Ohio, S.C. State, Savannah State and Morgan State … had half a tackle for loss at Ohio.

High School/Prep
A three-year letterwinner at Ocean Lakes … was a first-team All-Beach District and second-team All-Tidewater linebacker as a senior at Ocean Lakes … also named the team’s defensive MVP … made 82 tackles and was a first-team all-district selection as a junior … spent one season at Fork Union Military Academy.

Lamar Latrel Neal was born on Feb. 11, 1993 … son of Charles Flora … majoring in mass communication.
