    High School: Played quarterback and linebacker for Maury…was first-team All-Eastern District and second-team All-Tidewater as a senior…passed for 1,200 yards and 12 TDs, scored eight touchdowns rushing, and recorded 97 tackles as a senior…also an all-district pick as a junior, when he had 87 tackles, six sacks and two interceptions and scored eight rushing TDs to help Maury to the Eastern Region playoffs…Maury won the district title his sophomore and junior seasons. 
     Personal: Lorenzo D. Branche was born on February 26, 1990…son of Darlene Lamb…majoring in health fitness…brother, DeAngelo, is NSU’s starting running back.
