Biography

2009 (Junior)
A staple on NSU’s special teams, Dodson played in all 11 games…also saw time as a backup defensive lineman…tallied two tackles for the year, both against Howard.

2008 (Sophomore)
Played in all 12 games, mostly on special teams…served as the team’s long-snapper for the final four games after an injury to Stephen Coffin…assisted on three tackles for the year…also got practice time as a reserve tight end before switching to defensive line in the spring of 2009…named to the NSU and MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic teams. 

2007 (Freshman)
Saw time in eight games…was a reserve linebacker and a special teams performer…was in on four tackles for the year, including two assisted tackles at North Carolina A&T…moved to tight end after the season during spring practice. 

2006 (Redshirt)
Redshirted. 

High School
A first-team All-Western Valley District selection as a junior and senior…was named team’s Defensive MVP and team captain in his final season…first-team All-Northwest Region…rated the No. 69 senior in the state according to The Roanoke Times.
