Started all 12 games … Earned All-MEAC first-team honors … Was second on the team with 103 total tackles … Ranked fifth in the MEAC with 8.6 tackles per game … Recorded three tackles for loss and three interceptions (tied for sixth in the MEAC) … Also deflected five passes, giving him eight passes defended (tied for 12th in the conference) … Made an interception in the opener at Old Dominion … Tallied nine tackles and a pass breakup against Virginia State … Registered a career-high 16 tackles and a pair of pass breakups at No. 8 Montana State … Posted 15 tackles and forced a fumble two weeks later against North Carolina A&T … Snared his second interception of the year and made four tackles in the win at Howard … Tallied 10 tackles, one for loss, at Bethune-Cookman … Was a catalyst in the NSU’s shutout of Morgan State … Recorded nine tackles, one pas breakup and returned an interception 48 yards for a touchdown … Posted six tackles and a TFL at North Carolina Central … Registered 12 tackles, one for a loss, in the finale vs. South Carolina State.

Started all 11 games at free safety in his debut season with NSU … Finished the year with 62 tackles (sixth on team), two tackles for loss, one sack, three interceptions (second on team), one fumble recovery and one forced fumble … Made six tackles, including one sack, and also intercepted a pass against William & Mary … Recorded a season-high 10 tackles and returned a fumble 33 yards for a touchdown at James Madison … Posted eight tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in the win over Florida A&M … Followed that up with nine tackles, one for loss, against Hampton … Registered eight tackles and his third INT of the year against Savannah State … Had five tackles in each of the last two games of the season … Named to the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for the spring 2018 semester.
