Norfolk State University Athletics

    2008 (Junior): Played in just one game, the opener against Virginia State…ran four times for a career-high 39 yards…tore an ACL at the end of his career-long 32-yard run against VSU and missed the rest of the season. 
     2007 (Sophomore): Appeared in eight games…rushed 21 times for 43 yards for the season…posted career highs of eight carries for 36 yards in the win over Bethune-Cookman…rushed three times for 21 yards on the go-ahead scoring drive against B-CU. 
    2006 (Freshman): Saw action on special teams units and as a backup running back…played in all 11 games…made 11 tackles, four solo and seven assisted, tied for most on the team among special teams players…also had 11 carries for 33 yards at tailback…had season highs of four carries and 15 rushing yards against Delaware State. 
    At UNC: Attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C., during the 2005-06 school year…redshirted the season. 
    High School: Left Patrick Henry (Ashland, Va.) as the school’s all-time leading rusher, with 4,217 yards…scored 61 touchdowns in his prep career…rushed for 1,516 yards and 25 TDs as a senior…a first-team All-Colonial District, All-Central Region and Richmond Times Dispatch All-Metro selection as a senior…also named second-team all-state that year…was second-team All-Metro and first-team all-district as a junior, when he ran for more than 1,700 yards.
