    2006: Made an immediate impact on special teams in his first season…an electrifying kick returner, Howard totaled 746 all-purpose yards, second on the team…returned 25 kickoffs for 522 yards, an average of 20.9 per return (seventh in the MEAC)…had 10 punt returns for 224 yards, a 22.4 average…the 22.4-yard punt return average would have led the MEAC and ranked second in Division I FCS if he had enough returns to qualify…had a 55-yard punt return for TD vs. North Carolina A&T, the school’s first in five years…had another 55-yard punt return TD vs. N.C. A&T called back due to penalty…had three kick returns for 121 yards, including a long of 49, vs. Virginia State…had a season-high 158 all-purpose yards (93 on kickoff returns, 65 on punt returns) vs. Delaware State…missed the Florida A&M game due to injury. 
    At Hudson Valley: Caught 37 passes for 436 yards and four touchdowns in his two years as a receiver at HVCC…led the team in receptions (28) and receiving touchdowns (four) as a freshman in 2004…also returned 12 punts for 256 yards and two touchdowns as a freshman, with a long of 85 yards…returned 13 kickoffs for 255 yards…tallied 131 return yards as a sophomore. 
    High School: A three-year letterwinner at Heritage…tallied over 1,200 all-purpose yards as a senior…scored seven total touchdowns, four receiving and three on kick and punt returns…was a first-team All-Peninsula District selection and second-team Daily Press All-Star as a senior.
