Biography

2016 (Senior)
Played in seven games at defensive end … Started once, at William & Mary … Finished the season with five tackles and one quarterback hurry … Made two tackles against both Richmond and Howard.

2015 (Junior)
Appeared in eight games and started the first two contests of the year … Missed the Marshall, Hampton and Howard games due to injury … Made nine tackles on the year, including two for loss … Also deflected one pass and had two quarterback hurries … Had one tackle (a TFL) at Rutgers in the season-opener … Made a career-high four tackles, including half for a loss, at ODU … Also made a pair of tackles against both Bethune-Cookman and N.C. Central … Named to the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the spring semester and was named to the MEAC Commissioner’s All-Academic Team.

2014 (Sophomore)
Contributed to NSU’s special teams coverage units and as a reserve outside linebacker/defensive end in his first season as a Spartan … Played in all 12 games and amassed nine tackles on the year (three solos, six assisted) … Also had one sack and one quarterback hurry during the year … Made a season-high three tackles twice, against Savannah State and Florida A&M … Credited with half a sack against both FAMU and South Carolina State … Member of the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the spring semester.

At ULL
Attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the 2012 and 2013 seasons … Redshirted 2012 … Was a reserve linebacker as a freshman in 2013 … Appeared in one game, assisting one tackle against Nicholls State.

High School
Played in the Broward County All-Star game as a senior at Hallandale High, playing for coach Damon Jones … Lettered twice in football, playing both tight end and defensive end … Was a standout on the track team, competing in the high jump and triple jump, earning honorable mention all-county honors as a senior … Had a season-best 43-7 jump to finish fifth in the state regional as a junior and his jump of 44-0 earned him an 11th place finish in the 2012 state meet.
