Norfolk State University Athletics

2010 (Senior)
Started all 11 games at center for the second consecutive year…a second-team All-MEAC selection…helped the Spartans finish third in the MEAC in total offense (343.6 ypg), rushing offense (174.6 ypg) and passing offense (169.0)…part of an offensive line that led the MEAC in fewest sacks allowed (13 in 11 games, 1.1 average)…helped pave the way for running back DeAngelo Branche to become the school’s all-time leading rusher…Branche also led the MEAC in rushing in 2010 with 1,330 yards…graded out at 90 percent on the season and was never below 85 percent.

2009 (Junior)
First-team All-MEAC pick and SBN Sports Black College All-American in his first season at NSU…started all 12 games…played 623 snaps, second-most on the team…graded out at over 80 percent on his assignments five times…earned a 98 percent grade at Delaware State…scored the team’s highest grade against both DSU and Howard (89 percent)…helped the Spartans rank third in the MEAC in both scoring and total offense. 

At COS
Honorable mention all-conference as a freshman and sophomore…named to the JC Grid-Wire and JCFootball.Com Academic Honor Roll his sophomore year…also served as a team captain that season…received his associate’s degree in general education.

High School
Played two seasons at Tafuna High School…was a second-team all-star selection as a senior…helped team win the island championship his junior season.

William Tonga Falakiseni was born on December 16, 1989…son of Netane and Siu Falakiseni…majoring in interdisciplinary studies with a focus in building construction.
