2021 (Senior)
Started all 11 games at left guard … Named to the All-MEAC first team … Selected MEAC Offensive Lineman of the Week following the Wake Forest and Howard games … Helped block for the MEAC’s top scoring (33.2), rushing (212.2 ypg) and total offense (440.5 ypg) … NSU set single-season Division I school records in all three of those categories and topped the 40-point mark four times … Finished his career having started all 45 games in his career … Played in the HBCU Legacy Bowl following the season.

2020 (COVID)
NSU did not play due to COVID-19.

2019 (Junior)
Started every game for the third straight year … Started 10 times at left guard and twice at center … Named to the All-MEAC third team at guard … Played 724 a total of 724 snaps on the season … Graded out at 93 percent on his assignments for the year, grading among the top three linemen on the team in nine of 12 games … Gave up just two sacks on the year … Helped NSU finish the season as the top scoring offense in the school’s Division I history, at 28.9 points per game overall and 31.8 in MEAC games … The Spartans also ranked second in the MEAC in passing offense and third in rushing offense.

2018 (Sophomore)
A mainstay on the Spartan line, Powell again started all 11 games of the season at left guard … Helped block for an offense that ranked third in the MEAC in passing yards (220.5 ypg) and tied for second in the conference in fewest sacks against (18).

2017 (Freshman)
Started all 11 games at left guard in his rookie season … Helped NSU allow opponents just 22 sacks, 13 fewer than the previous season … Named to the NSU AD’s Honor Roll for the spring 2018 semester.
