2008-09 (Junior Year)
First-team All-MEAC selection…first-team HBCU Division I selection by BoxTooRow.com…also a second-team All-District 15 selection by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC)…honorable mention all-state pick by the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID)…earned MEAC All-Tournament honors in helping the Spartans reach the conference championship game for the first time in school history…just the second player in NSU history to lead the MEAC in scoring, Deloach averaged 21.5 points per game to rank 15th in the nation…scored 666 points, the most by any Spartan player in the school’s Division I era (since 1997-98)…an all-tournament team selection at Missouri State’s Basketball Travelers Tip-Off Tournament and at Montana State’s Bobcat 6th Man Club Classic…more than just a prolific scorer, Deloach was second on the team in rebounds (4.9), assists (2.8) and steals (2.0)...ranked third in the MEAC in steals and minutes played (36.2), seventh in free-throw percentage (.715), eighth in assists, 13th in field-goal percentage (.455), and tied for 18th in rebounds… also led the conference in field goals made (244) and attempted (536) and free throws made (143) and attempted (200)… Deloach averaged 23.3 points in MEAC play and scored at least 18 points in all 16 regular-season conference games…connected on 49 percent of his field goals in conference play…hit the 30-point mark twice, with a career-high 32 at William & Mary (11-19-08) and 30 in the MEAC championship against Morgan State (3-14-08)…scored in doubles figures 29 times in 31 games…just missed a triple-double with 19 points, a career-high 10 rebounds and eight assists in the opener against Longwood (11-16-08)…followed that up with his 32-point effort on 12-of-23 shooting at W&M…scored at least 25 points in 11 games…scored 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting against Jacksonville State (12-2-08)…poured in 26 points, 23 in the second half, at N.C. A&T (12-6-08)…averaged 19 points per game in NSU’s three games against Missouri State, Middle Tennessee and UC Irvine in the Basketball Travelers Tip-Off Tournament (12-20 through 12-22-08)…scored at least 20 points four games in a row after the holiday break…had 23 points against Utah Valley in the Montana State tournament (12-28-08)…notched 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting while dishing out seven assists in a win at Coppin State (1-10-09)…followed that up with 21 points at Morgan State (1-12-09)…enjoyed one of his finest games of the year in a home win over Delaware State (1-17-09)…scored 29 points on 11-of-16 shooting (69 percent), including a career-high five 3-pointers…also had five assists, four rebounds and three steals against the Hornets…had 22 points, four rebounds, four steals and three assists in a comeback win at Hampton (1-31-09)…poured in 28 points on 12-of-18 shooting in a nationally-televised win over Florida A&M (2-9-09)…tallied five consecutive games with at least 25 points in late February…scored 25 points at Maryland Eastern Shore (2-16-09)…matched his season high with 12 free throws made, and set a new season high with 17 free throws attempted in that game…recorded 26 points, six rebounds and five assists in 40 minutes against S.C. State (2-21-09)…followed that with 25 points and eight rebounds, six offensive, against Winston-Salem State (2-23-09)…had the best shooting night of his career against Hampton (2-28-09)…was 10-of-12 (83 percent) from the floor, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, in the win over the Pirates…finished that game with 27 points in 25 minutes played…capped MEAC regular-season play with 25 points against Howard (3-2-09) and 23 against N.C. A&T (3-5-09)…after being held to just nine points in the MEAC Tournament quarterfinal win over Bethune-Cookman (3-12-09), Deloach responded with 20 in the semifinal win over S.C. State (3-13-09) and 30 in the championship against Morgan State…was 12-of-13 from the line against MSU.
2007-08 (Sophomore Year)
Thrived as the team’s sixth man…named the team’s Most Improved Player…despite starting just once in 31 games, Deloach was third on the team in scoring (12.8 points per game) and first in assists (96, 3.1 average) and steals (55, 1.8)…led the MEAC in steals…shot 49 percent from the floor, one of the highest figures in the conference for a guard…ranked fourth in the MEAC in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.3), fifth in assists, seventh in field-goal percentage and 15th in scoring …averaged 14.6 points per game in conference play, eighth-best among MEAC players…averaged 3.7 rebounds, fourth-best on the team…scored in double figures 20 times…had four games with at least 20 points, including one 30-point game…attempted 102 free throws, second-most on the team behind Tony Murphy…led the team in assists in 16 games and in scoring eight times… had 20 points at Prairie View A&M (11-26-07) and 24 against North Carolina A&T (12-1-07) in back-to-back games…shot a combined 16-of-25 from the floor in those two outings…had 12 points and seven assists, including the winning field goal as time expired, in the nationally-televised win over Morgan State (1-14-08)…registered double-figure scoring outputs in eight straight contests between Jan. 21 and Feb. 16…scored 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting (3-of-4 on 3-pointers) in the win over Winston-Salem State (1-28-08)…led NSU with 17 points and a career-high eight rebounds against Hampton (2-2-08)…scored a career-high 30 points, including 26 in the second half and overtime, in the win over Bethune-Cookman (2-9-08)…hit the game-winning jumper with 0.6 seconds left in overtime against the Wildcats…attempted an NSU single-game school record 21 free throws in that game, making 15…the 30 points were the most scored by an NSU player in 2007-08…had career highs of nine assists and five steals in the second game at Hampton (3-1-08)…went 2-of-2 from the foul line with 3.5 seconds to break a tie and give NSU the win at Howard (3-3-08)…had 15 points, six assists and no turnovers in the MEAC Tournament semifinal loss to Coppin State (3-14-08).
2006-07 (Sophomore Year)
Saw action in 24 games, all as a reserve…averaged 3.4 points in 9.6 minutes per game…shot 43.6 percent from the floor (34-for-78) and had 14 steals on the year…started the season-opener at Oklahoma, playing a season-high 25 minutes (11-10-06)…scored in double figures twice, both against MEAC teams…had career highs of 13 points, three assists and three steals in 23 minutes at Coppin State (2-10-07)…had 12 points and a career-high six rebounds in the MEAC Tournament quarterfinal loss to North Carolina A&T (3-8-07).

Played his final year of prep ball at Bonner Academy in Charlotte, N.C., in 2004-05…averaged 24 points, five assists and three steals per game in his one season at Bonner…lettered three years on the varsity at Northern Nash…averaged 22 points, five assists and three steals as a senior…was the area’s leader in all three categories…was named the city Player of the Year…was selected to the all-conference team and was an honorable mention 4A all-state pick…averaged 17 points per game as a junior and 14 as a sophomore, and was named to the all-area team both seasons.
