2012 (Senior Year): Named to the All-MEAC second team for the second time in her career … Was also tabbed to the preseason All-MEAC team … The Norfolk State Female Athlete of the Year … Earned a spot on the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State Team and the VaSID Academic All-State Team … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team … Team MVP … Earned the Joseph Echols Memorial Award from the Norfolk Sports Club as the top senior student-athlete (male or female) … An Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar … Finished the season with an NSU record 398 kills and started 24 of 34 matches while playing in all 128 sets … One of only two players to compete in every set … Averaged 3.11 kills per set on a .245 attack percentage … Ranked 10th in the MEAC in both kills and points (3.43) per set … The only player in NSU history to tally 1,000 career kills … Ended her career with 1,177 … Extended her all-time program record for career block assists with 211 … Moved into first place all-time in total blocks with 264 and into 10th in solo blocks with 53 … Also ended her career with the most sets played (445) and attacks (2,712) in NSU history … Added 50 digs and 12 assists on the year … Finished the season ranked third on the team with 63 total blocks, averaging 0.49 per set … Reached double-digits in kills in 20 matches, including in 16 of the last 19 contests of the year … Had her best match of the season against Providence on Sept. 1, posting 22 kills with just one attack error on a .600 attack percentage … Also had 19 kills and a season-high five blocks the same day against Robert Morris … Tallied 20 kills in a huge upset over William & Mary on Oct. 2 … Followed that up with an 18-kill performance against Howard on Oct. 7 … Posted 17 kills against UMES on Nov. 9 and 13 kills on a .500 attack percentage on Senior Day against Delaware State on Nov. 11 … Added 31 kills in two matches at the MEAC tournament from Nov. 16-17 … Hit .344 with 15 kills against Morgan State on Oct. 26 … Posted 15 kills with five digs at North Carolina A&T on Oct. 17.

2011 (Junior Year): Started all 25 matches and saw action in all 91 sets on the year … Earned a spot on the Maddie Bingaman Memorial All-Tournament Team on Sept. 10 at UMBC … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team and the VaSID Academic All-State Team … Led the team with 285 kills, a 2.85 kills per set average and a .255 attack percentage … Also had a team-best 72 blocks and 0.79 blocks per set … Ranked fifth in the MEAC in blocks per set … Contributed 57 block assists, the fourth-highest total in single-season history, and took over first-place all-time at NSU in career block assists with 158 … Also added 35 digs, 16 service aces and three assists … Had 15 matches with 10 or more kills … Posted a season-high 20 kills on a .533 attack percentage with six blocks in a 3-2 win over Youngstown State Sept. 10 … Knocked down a career-high seven service aces to go along with 17 kills in a 3-1 victory over Howard on Nov. 4 … Tallied a career-high eight blocks with 15 kills in a 3-2 win at Hampton Oct. 21 … Tied her career high with six digs and added 13 kills at High Point in a 3-2 win Sept. 24 … Hit 17 kills with six blocks against Howard on Oct. 9 … Reached 15 kills for the first of five times on the season when she knocked home exactly 15 kills on a .417 attack percentage against Fairleigh Dickinson Sept. 9.

2010 (Sophomore Year): Named to the All-MEAC Second Team … Tabbed the MEAC Player of the Week Nov. 15 after averaging 4.17 kills per set and hitting .379 in the last three regular season matches … Earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team at the Peaky’s North/South UMES Hawk Invitational Oct. 2 … Member of the MEAC All-Academic Team … Team MVP … Set the NSU single-season record for kills in a season with 328 … Broke the old record of 307 set by April Johnson in 1996 … Competed in all 123 sets and started 32 of 33 matches … One of only two players to compete in every set … Averaged 2.67 kills per set on a .242 attack percentage … Led all hitters in attack percentage and finished second overall on the team to setter Nicole Kessner … Finished seventh in the conference with 3.26 points per set … Posted 69 blocks, including 15 solo, and finished second on the team with 0.56 blocks per set … Had the third-most service aces on the team with 31 … Also added 49 digs and 12 assists … Came on as the season wore on, reaching double-digits in kills in 15 matches, including the last four and seven of the last 10 … Had her best match of the season against North Carolina Central Oct. 24, posting a career-high 24 kills – two away from tying the NSU single-match mark – on a .452 attack percentage and set another career high with six digs … Her 24 kills was the third-most by a MEAC player on the season … Posted 19 kills against Delaware State Sept. 25 in the Spartan Invitational and had a season-high six blocks … Had a season-high four service aces against Savannah State Oct. 11 with eight kills … Also had 19 kills at Florida A&M Nov. 14 and averaged 15 kills a match over the last four matches of the year.

2009 (Freshman Year): Earned Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week honors on Nov. 2 and Oct. 5 … Team’s Rookie of the Year … Competed in 30 matches, starting 18 … Led the team with 60 blocks in 103 sets, including 13 solo blocks and 47 block assists, averaging 0.58 blocks per set … Finished second on the team with 192 kills (1.86 per set), while finishing with the second-best hitting percentage at .181 … Also contributed 19 digs, 13 service aces and nine assists on the season … Totaled double-digits in kills on six occasions … Added 15 kills with just three errors on a .414 attack percentage in a tough 3-2 loss at South Carolina State Oct. 28 … Posted 12 kills and a season-high six blocks in a 3-1 win at North Carolina A&T Oct. 23 … Also had six blocks with 13 kills against North Carolina Central Oct. 3, hitting .455 in the 3-2 loss … Had four service aces Oct. 7 against Alabama State.

High School: Played three years of varsity volleyball … Tallied 297 kills, 177 digs and 122 blocks as a senior en route to making the All-Bay Rivers District First Team … Was a two-year letterwinner at Warhill and a Region 1 honorable mention pick as a senior … Became the first student in Warhill’s two-year history to earn an athletic scholarship when she signed with NSU.
