2014 (Junior)
Played in all 11 games, seeing time in every contest except Maine … made eight tackles on the season, four solos and four assists … tied his career high with three tackles at Hampton … credited with a quarterback hurry at Florida A&M … made two tackles against Bethune-Cookman. 

2013 (Sophomore)
Saw time in all 12 games as a sophomore … played on special teams and also was a backup at outside linebacker … made 11 tackles for the year … also recovered a fumble … had a career-best three tackles against Florida A&M … made two tackles against both Rutgers and N.C. Central … recovered a fumble on special teams in the finale against S.C. State.

2012 (Freshman)
Played in four contests, seeing time on both special teams and at linebacker … made his first career tackle on a fourth-quarter sack in the finale against Morgan State … his sack forced a fumble on that play … also played in the Virginia State, Liberty and Howard games.

High School/Prep
Spent one prep year at ASA … a four-year letterman in both football and basketball at Ola High School … posted 54 solo tackles and eight sacks as a senior in 2010 … named the team’s Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.

Justin Emanuel Gant was born on April 27, 1993 … son of Larry and Brenda Gant … majoring in exercise science/health fitness instruction.
