Biography

(Redshirt Senior Year – 2016-17)
Played in all 30 games and was the only Spartan to start every game … Averaged 5.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 25.7 minutes per game … Registered the third-most minutes played on the team … Her 46 blocks ranked 109th nationally, seventh in the MEAC and second on the team, while the 1.5 blocks per game ranked 103rd in the country, eighth in the conference and second on the squad … Ali’s 46 blocks are the fifth-most in a single season in the Division I era … Finished ninth in the conference in offensive rebounds per game (2.5) and 15th in total rebounds per game (6.0) … Shot 43.5 percent from the floor (67-of-154), which was the second-best mark on the team … Recorded seven double-digit scoring games, including a career-high 20 points at Delaware State (Jan. 16) … Also grabbed 11 rebounds in that game, tying a season high and recording her second double-double of the season … Notched her first double-double of the year with 11 points and 11 rebounds against St. Augustine’s (Nov. 15) … Led the Spartans in scoring against North Carolina Central (Jan. 14) with 19 points while blocking a career-high nine shots, which was the sixth-most in a single game in the country during the season … The nine blocks is the second-best in a game in school history … Tallied the most blocks by a Spartan in a game on seven other occasions … Led the team in rebounds five times throughout the season … Made the NSU Athletics Director’s Honor Roll for the spring 2017 semester.
 
At Longwood (Redshirt Junior Year – 2015-16)
Played nine games with one start while recovering from an ACL tear in her left knee suffered during the 2014-15 season … Averaged 9.2 minutes per game, bringing down 1.7 rebounds … Averaged 2.3 points per contest … Scored a season-best eight points against Liberty.
 
At Longwood (Junior Year - 2014-2015)
Played in seven games before being sidelined for the season with an ACL tear in her left knee at Virginia Tech … Shot .500 (19-of-38) from the floor to go along with a team-best 5.6 rebounds per contest … Logged a double-double in the squad’s home opener against UNC Greensboro with 15 points and 10 rebounds … Also tallied nine rebounds in the season-opener at Wake Forest … Tallied at least three blocks in two games.
