At Missouri: Competed one year in cross country, two in indoor track and one in outdoor track for the Tigers … in cross country, ran a season-best 19:03.70 in the 5K at the Greater Louisville Classic in the fall of 2012 ... also ran a time of 22.27.50 in the 6K race at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational … during her freshman indoor track season, Summey placed fourth in the 1,000 meters at the Missouri vs. Kansas dual meet in 2012 (3:12.51) … was third in the Missouri Collegiate Challenge in the 5,000 (college-best 17:47.25) … as a sophomore during indoor track season in 2013, Summey was third in the 1,000 at both the Missouri Invitational and Missouri Collegiate Challenge … competed in three outdoor meets in 2013, placing sixth in the 5,000 meters (17:49.93) and eighth in the 1,500 (4:56.26) at the Missouri Relays.
High School: Ran for Turbo Girls HS in Eldoret, Kenya, under coach Richard Khatali ... earned all-state for the Rift Valley Province in the 5K, and was all-state for cross country in 2008 ... high school bests were 4:38 (1500m), 17:35 (5K track), and 17:50 (5K XC) … earned the 2009-10 Female Athlete of the Year at Eldoret West High School … earned the all-academic award as a sophomore.
