2012-13: Indoor: Competed primarily in the weight throw during indoor season … took 11th place in that event at the MEAC Championship with a season-best throw of 43-1.75 … placed eighth in the shot put at the CNU Captains Invitational (38-2.25). Outdoor: Earned top-10 finishes in both the discus (eighth, 124-11) and javelin throws (98-4) at the MEAC Outdoor Championship … had a season-best discus mark of 130-9 at the Morgan State Legacy Meet, good for seventh place.
High School: Four-year letterwinner at Grassfield … state Group AAA outdoor championship qualifier in the shot put and discus … set a new PR in the discus (130-3) in finishing as state runner-up her senior year … finished second behind her twin sister, Kiara … also placed eighth in the shot put … was also Southeastern District runner-up behind only her sister in the shot put with a PR of 39-4.25 … was Eastern Region champion in the discus as a sophomore.
