A former four-year player at Georgia State, Andrea’ Dunlap begins her first season as assistant coach with the Norfolk State volleyball program in 2021.
 
She spent four years at GSU from 2011-14 under her maiden name Andrea’ Ezell, leading the Panthers in blocks as a junior in 2013 with 107. She also averaged a team-best 0.94 blocks her freshman year in 2011. She compiled and 291 kills and 255 blocks in 89 matches during her four years with Georgia State, including 73 starts.
 
She was a regular member of the AD’s Honor Roll and was named to the Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll as a junior during the 2013-14 academic year. She graduated in the spring of 2015 with a bachelor’s in political science, with a concentration in international affairs, and a minor in Spanish. A native of Largo, Florida, she attended Pinellas Park High School before her career at Georgia State.
 
Following her time with the Panthers, Dunlap attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in spring of 2019 with a concentration in social justice and public interest, including an area of focus in identity and civil rights. She also received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in international law in the spring of 2019. She served as the social justice chair for the Southern Region of the Black Law Student Association.
 
Dunlap and her husband Rod, an officer in the United States Navy, reside in Norfolk.
