2007 (Junior Year)
Played in all 104 games…led the team with 220 kills and 2.12 kills per game…hit .098 (first on the team) and had 270 digs, 40 aces, 30 total blocks (eight solo) and 17 assists…was second on the team in digs and aces…had three double-doubles in kills and digs for the season…leads the returning players in kills, hitting percentage, digs, solo blocks and total blocks…hit .389 with eight kills, eight digs, and a season-high five aces in the 3-0 win over Hampton (9-4-07)…had 12 kills and 18 digs against Bethune-Cookman (11-2-07)…hit .220 or better in 10 matches…had 10 kills, 12 digs and hit .381 in the 3-0 win over Savannah State (9-22-07)…had four streaks of matches with double-digit digs, with the longest stretching over four matches…hit .308 with nine kills, 11 digs and a season-high three solo blocks against Bethune-Cookman (10-6-07)…recorded a double-double of 14 kills and 13 digs and hit .333 against Hampton (9-22-07)…hit .381 with 10 kills in the 3-0 at Winston-Salem State (9-20-07).

2006 (Sophomore Year)
Played in 93 games…led the team and ranked fifth in the MEAC with 45 aces…had a team-high 276.5 points (2.97 per game), and was second on the team with 173 digs…she leads the 2007 returning players with 218 kills (2.34 per game) and ranks third among the returnees in hitting percentage (.134) and total blocks (26)…had matches with 10 or more kills on eight occasions…hit a season-high .424 and had 17 kills against Bethune-Cookman (11-11-06)…had 10 kills, 10 digs and three aces against Hampton (9-19-06)…in the team’s two meetings with Winston-Salem State, she had a combined 24 kills, 17 digs, five aces and five block assists…had 17 kills, 16 digs and four aces against South Carolina State (10-7-06)…hit .421 with 10 kills, six digs and two aces against Coppin State (10-13-06)…recorded 14 kills in the season-ending win over Savannah State (11-12-06). 

2005 (Freshman Year)
Played in 76 games….was the team’s Outstanding Rookie…led the team with 150 kills, an average of 1.97 per game…third on the team in aces (20) and fourth in digs (108) and total blocks (34)…had four matches with 10 or more kills…tallied a season- and career-high 16 kills, nine digs and three aces against Bethune-Cookman (9-30-05)…hit .500 with six kills, five aces and four digs in the win over Winston-Salem (9-3-05)…recorded 32 kills, 18 digs, seven aces and four block assists on the second day of the MEAC Round-up (10-15-05), including 13 kills and three aces against Delaware State and 12 kills and six digs against Hampton…had nine kills and five digs against South Carolina State (10-27-05) and 10 kills and three digs against Hampton (11-9-05). 

High School
Played four years of volleyball for coach Jonathan Caldwell…received the Step Up award as a freshman and was named team MVP as a junior and senior…was also a member of the Marlins’ indoor and outdoor track and field teams, participating in the shot put and discus throws…was named to the All-Eastern Region track team as a freshman and sophomore…received All-State honors as a junior and senior and won the indoor team’s Most Valuable award as a junior.

Yolanda Yvonne Roberts…born May 24, 1987…daughter of Irvin and Carroll Roberts…brother Irving III and sister Candice are NSU alums…majoring in elementary education…wants to be an elementary math or science teacher.
