Mayowa Aribsala joined the Norfolk State sports medicine staff during the 2024-25 academic year, primarily working with the men's basketball program.
Aribsala comes to Norfolk State from Catawba College, where he spent one year as an athletic trainer. He primarily worked with the men's basketball program.
Aribsala earned his first post-graduate position at Washington College, spending 2.5 years as an athletic trainer there. He worked primarily with men's and women's basketball, women's soccer, women's rowing, and softball.
As part of the undergraduate training program at Liberty, Aribsala worked several different rotations including a internship with the men's basketball program. During his time with the team, the Flames made the NCAA Tournament and reached the Round of 32.
Aribsala earned his bachelor's degree from Liberty in 2019.
