NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State senior Dominic Luka (Marietta, N.Y.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

Luka finished second overall out of 138 runners at the William & Mary Tribe Open on Saturday. Luka's time of 25 minutes is the fastest time for an 8K race in the MEAC this season.

This is the fourth time an NSU male runner has won the weekly award this season. Luka is the third Spartan to take the award.
