NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk State women's basketball team hosts the Lady Aggies of North Carolina A&T in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference opener for both on Saturday at Joseph Echols Hall. Tip-off is at 4 p.m.

NSU (1-2) enters the game after a 68-63 loss to Winthrop on Monday. The Lady Aggies routed South Carolina Upstate 92-54 on Tuesday and are now 5-1 on the season.

NSU leads the all-time series with North Carolina A&T 13-7, but the Lady Aggies swept the Spartans last season, winning 86-58 in Greensboro on Jan. 27, 2007 and 83-77 in Norfolk on Feb. 24.

Tickets are $15 for reserved seating and $10 general admission for the doubleheader. Tickets for youth age 7-17 are $5, and children 6 and under are admitted free.
