COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Anwar Johnson had 17 points to lead four Air Force players in double figures, and the Falcons hit 11-of-20 from behind the 3-point arc to beat Norfolk State for the third straight year, 75-52 on Sunday afternoon at Clune Arena.
The game tipped off an hour late, at 6 p.m. ET, because a snowstorm in Colorado resulted in the game's officials arriving late.

Michael Deloach (Rocky Mount, N.C.) led the Spartans (1-3) with 16 points, five steals and four rebounds before fouling out in the closing minutes.
AFA took its first double-digit lead at 20-10 after a free throw by Grant Parker with 9:45 left in the first half. The Falcons gradually stretched their lead thanks to their long-range shooting. They hit 6 of their first 9 3-pointers and 7-of-12 overall in the first half. Evan Washington (11 points) then hit a layup with four seconds left before halftime to give AFA its largest lead of the first period, 38-20, going into the break.
The Falcons then scored the first six points after the half, including four from Johnson, to push the lead to 44-20. They led by at least 20 the rest of the way.
Corey Lyons (Bronx, N.Y.) and Kevin Worsley (Chesapeake, Va.) contributed seven points apiece for NSU, which shot just 39 percent from the floor, 14 percent (3-of-22) from 3-point range, and got outrebounded 37-25.
