NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk State men's basketball team opens its 2008-09 MEAC schedule this Saturday at North Carolina A&T. Tip-off is at 4 p.m. from the Corbett Sports Center in Greensboro.

The Spartans (1-4) will attempt to break a four-game losing streak this weekend in a gym where they have not win since 2006. A&T has won the last two meetings between the teams in Greensboro, including a 72-70 victory in their last meeting on March 6. The teams split their two games last season, with NSU winning in Norfolk on Dec. 1, 2007. The Spartans have won their last three MEAC openers.

The Aggies (4-3) have won two in a row.
