WILLIAMSBURG, Va.
– The Norfolk State men's tennis team dropped to 0-3 on the season with a 5-2 loss Saturday at William & Mary.

The NSU men picked up a pair of singles wins and one doubles win. Miroslav Vlcek (Vyskov, Czech Republic) earned a 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (11-9) win at No. 1 singles over Sebastien Vidal. Fellow junior Petr Krakora (Brno, Czech Republic) took a straight set win at No. 3, 6-2, 6-3, over Alexander Zuck for NSU's other point.

Vlcek and Krakora also won at No. 1 doubles over Kavi Sud and Robert Wardell, 8-5. But the Tribe won at Nos. 2 and 3 to take the doubles point.

The Spartans have off until March when they host North Carolina Central at noon at the NSU Tennis Complex.
