ORANGEBURG, S.C. – Despite another win by Miroslav Vlcek (Vyskov, Czech Republic), the NSU men's tennis team dropped to 2-7 overall, 0-3 in the MEAC after a 6-1 loss at South Carolina State on Saturday afternoon.

Vlcek topped Ivan Milivojevic 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 singles for his seventh straight singles win. But the Bulldogs (11-1, 5-0), one of the MEAC favorites this season, recorded straight-set wins at the other five singles slots and won all three doubles matches.

NSU's next match is Apr. 2 when it hosts Virginia State.
