NORFOLK, Va. - Coming off its lone bye week of the season, the Norfolk State football team (2-2, 1-1 MEAC) hosts nationally-ranked and defending MEAC champion South Carolina State (3-1, 1-0) this Saturday at 1 p.m. at Dick Price Stadium.
Saturday's game will be available via live video stream, the first video webcast in NSU athletics history. A subscription is required and can be purchased

The game has also been designated Youth Day. All youth age 17 and under accompanied by a paying adult will be admitted free. For more information, call (757) 823-8152.
NSU is coming off a 40-14 win over Bethune-Cookman two weeks ago which evened the Spartans' conference record at 1-1. NSU rolled up a season-high 438 yards of offense behind quarterback
Dennis Brown (Miami, Fla.), who passed for a career-high 267 yards, and receiver
Chris Bell (Norfolk, Va.), who had a career-high 213 receiving yards and two scores. Running back
DeAngelo Branche (Norfolk, Va.) had his first 100-yard rushing game of the year, finishing with 106 yards and three short TD runs.
The Spartan defense, which is ranked first in the MEAC (allowing 230.8 yards per game), recorded a season-high five sacks, five interceptions and 11 tackles for loss.
The Bulldogs, ranked 16th in this week's FCS Coaches Poll and 17th in The Sports Network Poll, suffered their first loss of the season last week, 38-14 at the hands of the University of South Carolina. Quarterback Malcolm Long scored both SCSU touchdowns on short runs. Long (658 passing yards, four TDs) and preseason MEAC Offensive Player of the Year running back Will Ford (308 rushing yards, two TDs) are the catalysts for SCSU.
