ESPNU to Televise 4 NSU Men's Basketball Games

2010-11 MEAC TV Package

NORFOLK, Va.
– The Norfolk State men's basketball team will appear on ESPNU four times during the 2010-11 regular season as part of the MEAC's official television package.

The Spartans will play on ESPNU a total of three times in January alone, beginning with their Jan. 17 game at Howard University in Washington, D.C. Tip-off will be at 9 p.m.

A week later on Jan. 24, NSU's home matchup with South Carolina State will be broadcast by the network, also at 9 p.m. Later in that same week, the Spartans' Jan. 29 game at Morgan State will be shown live. Tip-off has been moved to 1 p.m.

NSU's final regular-season game that will air on ESPNU will be on Monday, Feb. 7 at Delaware State. The game will tip off at 9 p.m.

In addition to a total of 10 men's regular-season games and three women's contests, ESPN networks will also carry the MEAC Tournament championship games. The men's championship on March 12 will air live on ESPN2 at 2 p.m., while the women's title game, which will also be played on March 12, will be shown on a tape-delay basis the following day.
