NORFOLK, Va. - NSU students attending remaining Spartans ' home basketball games will have an opportunity to win prizes as they cheer on the Green and Gold. ABNB Federal Credit Union, NSU Athletics, the NSU Athletics Foundation and NSU Residence Hall Association (RHA) will sponsor this year's "Get in the Game" contest that allows students an opportunity to win prizes at each home game, including a $1,000 grand prize on March 3 during the NSU vs. North Carolina A&T doubleheader.   

Students can win by completing an application at each game before entering Joseph Echols Hall. Drawings will be held each game to determine the winners of smaller cash prizes compliments of ABNB Federal Credit Union, which will also giveaway $3,000 for a “Shoot for Cash” contest during the season.Other items include gift certificates from Buffalo Wild Wings, Barnes and Noble Book Store, Max and Erma's at the Norfolk Airport Hilton Hotel, Tropical Smoothie Café, MacArthur Center and stadium seats compliments of Select Import Motors.  

The Newport News-Williamsburg International Airport will conduct a drawing for two airline tickets to anywhere in the continental USA on Feb. 12 at the NSU vs. Hampton doubleheader. Then on Feb. 26 when NSU hosts Morgan State, a pair of tickets to the 2011 MEAC Basketball Tournament on March 8-12 in Winston-Salem, N.C. will be raffled off. All fans attending the game will be eligible to win the airline tickets and the MEAC Tournament tickets.
