NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State senior center Kyle O'Quinn was named MEAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the fourth time this season, the league announced Monday.
O'Quinn averaged 9.5 rebounds and 3.0 blocks to help NSU notch wins over Longwood and Bethune-Cookman last week. O'Quinn grabbed 16 rebounds and blocked two shots agains Longwood, then tallied four blocks, three rebounds and two steals at B-CU. He also averaged 13.0 points in the two games.
This is the 10th MEAC Defensive Player of the Year honor in O'Quinn's career.
