NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State women's tennis team will travel to Farmville, Va., on Saturday to play in the Longwood Classic hosted by Longwood University.

The field of teams competing this weekend includes Longwood, Morehead State, and fellow MEAC opponent North Carolina Central.

“It will be nice to get back to playing for the women and I think they should all be a bit more comfortable in match play now, having one good tournament under their belt,” said head coach Nate Feldman.  “We will look for them to continue to use the fall tournament portion as a learning experience and an opportunity to grow as competitors.”

The matches will be held at Longwood's Lancer Courts in Farmville, Va., with the first match scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday.  Action will continue on Sunday beginning at 9 a.m.
