NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team travels to Greenville, N.C. this weekend to take on East Carolina and Longwood.

The Spartans are coming off of a 5-2 loss at Old Dominion on Jan. 20. Freshmen Dzmitry Zyhmantovich and Robin Riethmueller picked up singles wins in the loss to ODU. Riethmueller was also named MEAC Rookie of the Week on Jan. 23.

ECU (1-0) opened its spring schedule with a 6-1 win at George Mason on Jan. 21. The Pirates swept the doubles point and tallied five singles wins.

Longwood (1-1) came out with a 4-1 victory over Morgan State on Jan. 20 in Richmond, Va. The Lancers won four singles matches and one doubles match in the win against the Bears.

The matches will take place at the ECU Indoor Tennis Center in Greenville, N.C. The Spartans take on the Pirates on Jan. 25 at 2:30 p.m. and will face the Lancers on Jan. 26 at 11 a.m.
