NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State athletics department has announced special promotions for its next two home basketball games.

This Saturday's doubleheader with Bethune-Cookman has been designated Military Appreciation Day and is being sponsored by the United States Marine Corps. All active duty, retired or reserve military personnel with proper ID will be admitted for $5. In addition, all youth attending Saturday's game will be admitted free with a paying adult. Youth groups will be admitted at the rate of 10 children free per one paying adult. The women's game tips off at 4 p.m. and the men at 6 at Echols Hall.

Monday's doubleheader with Florida A&M has been designated Community Night. All municipal workers from the seven-city Hampton Roads region with their city ID will be admitted for $5. The NSU-FAMU women's game tips at 6 p.m. with the men following at 8.
