NORFOLK, Va. - Norfolk State's final scheduled regular-season baseball game, slated for this Sunday against Savannah State, has been canceled and will not be made up.
SSU must play a makeup game from an earlier rainout this Saturday at North Carolina A&T to complete its MEAC Southern Division regular-season schedule, and NSU and SSU chose not to play their non-conference contest scheduled for Sunday.
As a result of the cancellation, the Spartans will now close their regular-season slate on Saturday with a 5 p.m. game against Old Dominion at
Marty L. Miller Field. The Spartans have also moved up their Senior Day recognitions to prior to the ODU game, since they were originally planned for Sunday.
