NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team will host Hampton and Binghamton this weekend.
The Spartans (0-2) are coming off of a 6-1 loss at Old Dominion on Jan. 26. Sophomore Samuel Lemberger posted NSU's only win in the singles competition. NSU's matches against UNC-Asheville and Elon that were scheduled for last week were cancelled due to inclement weather.
Hampton fell to Prairie View A&M, 5-0, in the Black College Tennis Classic on Feb. 8.
Binghamton (3-2) suffered a 6-1 loss to Penn State on Feb. 7 the Indoor Tennis Center in University Park, Pa. Aswin Nambi posted the only win of the day for Binghamton at the No. 4 singles position.
The Spartans will face Hampton on Friday at 9 a.m. and Binghamton on Saturday at12 p.m. Both matches will take place at the Centre Court Racquet Club in Newport News, Va.
