NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk State men's tennis team takes on Christopher Newport and North Carolina Central this weekend.
The Spartans (1-3) suffered a 6-1 loss to Binghamton on Sunday. Sophomore Dzmitry Zyhmantovich posted NSU's only win in the singles competition.
CNU (2-0) is coming off of a 7-2 win over Bridgewater College on Feb. 9 in Fredericksburg, Va.
N.C. Central (1-4) posted a 4-3 win over Longwood University on Sunday in Farmville, Va. Stephan Charles-Donatien, William East, Thomas Persico and Daniil Gerasimov each picked up wins for the Eagles in singles play.
NSU will face CNU on Saturday and N.C. Central on Sunday at the Centre Court Racquet Club in Newport News, Va. Both matches start at 12 p.m.
