Along with NSU and N.C. A&T, Bethune-Cookman (10-14) and Florida A&M (8-16) also advanced to the championship after finishing third and fourth, respectively, in the South.
UMES won the Northern Division title at 28-2. Delaware State (21-9) finished second, and Morgan State (19-10) came in third. Coppin State (11-19) also advanced to this weekend's championship with its fourth-place finish.
