After NSU fell into a quick 14-4 hole in the first quarter, a 3-pointer by Roberts and a layup by senior guard

The Cavaliers extended their lead to as many as 24 points (37-13) in the second quarter before a 10-4 NSU run brought the lead back down to 18. Harper's layup capped the spurt and cut NSU's deficit to 41-23, but the Cavaliers scored the final four points of the half to take a 45-23 lead into the locker room.
Randolph's fast-break layup less than a minute into the third quarter made it 47-23, and U.Va. led by as least 24 the rest of the way.
